Frank’s RedHot launched the world’s first ‘edible NFT’ using a new spoof blockchain called “Bonecoin”.
Opportunity:
Wings and game days go hand-in-hand! What better way to maximize usage of the beloved brand, than by giving fans the opportunity to tap into the NFT space in a saucy and interactive way!
Approach:
Wing fans were able to scan images of their chicken wing bones to earn Bonecoin. The fan with the most Bonecoin won the Frank's RedHot NFT and its edible counterpart, the eNFT.
Results:
Consumers flooded to the microsite! Eating wings drenched in Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wings Sauce, to scan the bones and earn Boincoin. The user with the most bonecoin won the minted NFT and it’s edible counterpart, the edible NFT!
